Henson Christmas

Since I was home in bed sick during the Henson Family Christmas, I told Zeb to take pictures so that I would know exactly what went on!  He did a great job!  My brother-in-law Frank also did a great job.  He kept me up to date with what was going on with him!!!

McDaniel Christmas

About lunchtime on Christmas Day, we headed to my parent's house to celebrate Christmas.  We had a really good time! It was very low key and laid back--in other words perfect! The kids had a blast.  After opening gifts, the 3 big girls ran off to play and we only saw them the couple of times they wanted to show us a routine! Sam, Bryson, and Anna Corinne had a fun time hanging around and playing with their new gifts.

The girls loved their new dresses from China!

This was pretty much my view the entire day.  No one wanted me in the kitchen or around food, so I sat with my feet propped up just observing everyone!  Next year, I owe everyone some cooking and cleaning!

The girls got some dress up clothes and their dolls got matching outfits!  Pretty fun!

Love this of Sam and Doe playing balloon!

All of Doe's greats (AC is in there somewhere) --They were giving her her calendar for the year!

Thankfully we decorated our house early, because December has been an absolutely crazy month for my family.  The month started off with my dad have successful cancer removal surgery and on the same day Sam got strep.  I have dealt off and on with a neck problem that stems from TMJ, and I messed up my neck the second week of December.  This was the worst it has been in 15 years and the muscle spasms were so bad that I could not move my neck at all.  After some meds and physical therapy I have gotten most of my movement back.  Literally I walked straight out of physical therapy on the 20th not feeling good.  That ended up being the flu which put me down for a bit more.  I have told Zeb "I'm sorry" so many times that he finally got frustrated with me.  He ended up taking care of the house and kids for 3 solid weeks! Thankfully, I'm feeling good now and as long as I'm careful my neck is doing really well! Oh, and I forgot to mention that in the midst of all of that my grandmother got real sick and was in the hospital for a week. Zeb and my mom have got to be tired!  With all of that being said, our Christmas was rather low key.  For the second year in a row (last year Leigh had strep and Sara Beth had the flu during Christmas), I missed Zeb's family Christmas.  I can't even begin to tell you how much I have missed it! Lord willing, next year, we will all be well!

These pics are all from our house on Christmas morning!  We had a really good time!  The kids are all at such fun ages!

The kids were all up sometime before 5:30, but Zeb held them off until he could drag me out of bed at 6:00!  This is the token top of the stairs picture!

None of the kids wanted anything big this year...but Santa had a really good time picking out things he thought they would like!

(on a complete side note...this is leigh, but every time i look at this pic i think sara beth)
