More Visitors

I was so excited when Gina Foster called on Saturday and said they were on their way to Jackson.  They came over for a little while on Monday for a visit.  They have a precious 2 year old named Megan.

What do you think they are saying?

The Fosters have been friends for years.  I taught Lauren (on left) when she was in 2nd grade!  She's now going into 9th!  Zeb said I was like an old lady because I couldn't get over how tall and beautiful she is!  Sorry Lauren, but you are!  In the picture below you can definitely tell the sister sets!
Hopefully they will be back before another whole year goes by!

An afternoon of playing in the grass gets you...

A rash from playing in the grass!

Times like this are when its nice to be married to a pediatrician! ha!  That grass tore her little skin up!  She never cared it was there unless I was trying to look at it!  After 3 days its almost gone--hopefully it will be tomorrow!

Zeb has pretty much solely been taking care of the kiddos!  One morning last week about 7:15, I get up and this is the view I see.  They are watching Daddy put out pine straw very early in the morning!
They ended up eating breakfast outside!  You can see Zeb through the bushes in the orange shirt!

Sunday Afternoon Fun

Is there a  better way to spend a 100 degree day?

I think not!

Visitors!

2 weeks ago the Shurdens came through town.  Nate did a wedding and then they were on their way to the beach!  We were able to work it out so we could meet at Chick-fil-A and catch up for an hour or so!  The kids had fun and so did we!

Knox wanted nothing to do with a picture of all girls-but I got him anyway!

Vacation Bible School

Last week was Vacation Bible School at our church.  The girls had an absolute blast and learned a lot.  It is always one of my favorite things of the summer, but I was at home with my feet propped up (as Sara Beth would say).  The theme was Mountains of Grace.  Sara Beth can say all of her Bible verses and both learned several new songs.  I love how they have activities for the two year olds.  Leigh is so proud of her crafts!

Katie came for VBS.  This picture was taken at Chick-fil-A  and it is one of my all time favorites!

A few more from the beach

Holly and Alexandra

This was taken at Cosmos--it's funny because the boys were definitely dancing more than the girls-but this pic doesn't show that!  Those boys can dance!

I was so excited that my friend Emily and her little girl Mary Brooke were at the beach!  They came over and were some great company during my "condo" vacation!  Mary Brooke is a sweet, beautiful little girl!  Rebecca was going to come, but Graham woke up sick-we missed them!

I spent a lot of time watching the oil clean-up crew out of our 7th floor window.  On Thursday, we had the definite smell of oil from our balcony--even though I don't think you could smell it from the pools!  What a mess!

The snow cone place had a park where the kids got to play for a short time!

I have a new favorite restaurant down there-Tin Top! It's a little bit of a drive from the Caribe-but worth every minute-yummy!

Sweet pic-wish it didn't look like SB was choking her! ha! She wasn't--just trying to get her to look at the camera!
We had a crazy trip home!  We left at 9:45 and didn't get home until 5:20!  It wasn't bad-just not a usual trip for us!  Normally we go without stopping, but not the case this time!  We knew it would take somewhat longer because I have to stop and walk around so I don't get blood clots (or something like that)!  The girls were starving.  We fed them the whole way!  We stopped in Hattiesburg at a Farmer's market and the girls ate a banana on a swing!

Sb lovin' the beach

Sara Beth's favorite part by far was the indoor pool and the slide.  She would have stayed there all day if we would have let her!

A little Honey time at Cosmos!

I'm pretty sure Zeb got stronger on this trip!  The girls love flying in the air!

Leigh lovin' the beach

Leigh loved playing with her Daddy!  She had a blast doing it all!

Goggles are her favorite accessory!  In or out of the water!

And dancing at the restaurants is tons of fun!

Beach Trip

The Henson clan invaded Orange Beach last week!  Everyone was able to go and we had a very good time!  It was a nice change of scenery for me!  I had to stay in the condo all day, but could go to dinner at night!  (I did sneak down for five or ten minutes a few times to snap some pictures)  That being said, my pictures aren't great because they were all "forced" into those few minutes!

G and the kiddos (minus Alexadra) watching cartoons before nap time!

We stayed at the Caribe.   These pictures were taken at The Cobalt restaurant-very yummy!

This picture makes me laugh--Leigh wanted so badly to take a picture like the big three, but Alexandra wanted absolutely no part!

Alexandra

Zeb has been working a ton lately (not anymore!!!) and the three of them had lots of good quality play time!  Zeb did not come back rested because those two love the pool, but are very needy swimmers!

The girls went down this slide no less than 2, 389 times!
