Our little firefighter is turning 4

We had Sam's 4th birthday party this week at the City of Jackson Fire Museum.  He loved every minute--a smile never left his face!

His favorite thing was sliding down the pole.  I wish I had counted how many times he did this!

Before the party started, he got to go back and meet the firefighters by himself and check out the fire truck they currently drive!

My mom was talking to him a couple of weeks ago about his birthday party and he said that he wanted the thing filled with candy that you spank.  (let's be clear that I don't spank with a stick--ha!)  I would have just let it pass--but that's not what grandmothers do.  She found this cute pinata and filled it with candy!

and it was a great success!

It was the perfect birthday party for a 4 year old boy who loves firetrucks!

A couple Iphone pics of the wedding

The quality of these pictures seem bad for even an iphone--but it's all I have and I have several friends that live away that have been asking for pictures!  My sister, Sara, married Brad Tisdale on May 30th!  It was a family only wedding at Lakeland Pres Chapel and then a reception at The Ice House downtown!  Every last detail was perfect!  I can't wait to see the real photos that Karla Pound took!

The kids table--although they spent most of their time on the dance floor.

duling pianos--so so fun!
