We had Sam's 4th birthday party this week at the City of Jackson Fire Museum. He loved every minute--a smile never left his face!
His favorite thing was sliding down the pole. I wish I had counted how many times he did this!
Before the party started, he got to go back and meet the firefighters by himself and check out the fire truck they currently drive!
learning the difference between a fire truck and a fire engine
a little singing
and a cool magic trick
then Stop, Drop, and Roll
and crawling through smoke
checking out the firetrucks all the way back to early 1900s
getting a tour of where the fire fighters live
listening to the siren
My mom was talking to him a couple of weeks ago about his birthday party and he said that he wanted the thing filled with candy that you spank. (let's be clear that I don't spank with a stick--ha!) I would have just let it pass--but that's not what grandmothers do. She found this cute pinata and filled it with candy!
and it was a great success!
checking out his cool vest Ms. Sherry gave him
It was the perfect birthday party for a 4 year old boy who loves firetrucks!
