Sara Beth, Today you are 5! What a great 5 years!!! You have brought so much joy to our lives! You are the sweetest little girl. You are always looking out for other people--especially your sister and brother. You are very sensitive and get your feelings hurt easily. You love to laugh, but hate to be laughed at. You love playing outside! Right now you are really wanting to take tennis lessons and you have been practicing a lot. Your activity this year is ballet. You seem to really enjoy it although I don't see it as something you do longterm. You absolutely love school! You also really like learning to read. You have become a great eater. You like pretty much all foods as long as they are separate. You do not like casseroles at all! God has given you a very tender heart toward him. I truly believe you understand that you are a sinner and that Jesus died for your sins. Your prayers are so very dear! You love learning Bible verses and right now we are working on verses that start with every letter of the alphabet. Even though we are sad that you are growing up so quickly, we are very proud of who you are becoming and we can't wait to see what God has in store for you! We love you, Sister!

Before her 3rd birthday party...
she had to get rid of her paci! We have several paci rules...when you turn one you only get your paci at nighttime (and occasionally at church if you fuss enough!) and you can't have a third birthday party with a paci. So, last Friday, we went to Zeb's work so Leigh could give her paci's to the babies. After all, they are the ones who need them!!!
This is Leigh checking out the baby who is gonna get her paci. The white ring that is flipped up is a mark of Leigh. For some strange reason, this is how she liked her paci.
hmmm...
turning them over with a smile...
satisified that the pretty baby has them...
skipping off down the hall---very proud of herself...
celebrating at Cock of the Walk with fried pickles...
and feeding the ducks leftover cornbread...
Leigh actually has done great! Saturday she cried her entire naptime, but since then it has not been a big deal. It takes her a little longer to fall asleep, but I am sure that will get better. Zeb and I are amazed at how much better her mood is. Anytime she would get in trouble she would want her paci, or anytime she was tired or upset. She now comes bounding around the corner in the morning with a huge smile on her face!! It's nice!
Now...let's party...

Happy Valentine's Day
Happy Valentine's Day
1 John 3:16 We know love by this, that He laid down His life for us...
Thanks G and Honey for making the girls these sweet pjs and getting Sam some cute dino ones!
My mom and dad gave the girls these MSU cheerleader outfits for their dolls. They were outside cheering "Go Dawgs" to our Ole Miss neighbors!
We had a fun Valentine's night at home. The girls and I made Pioneer Woman's pizza crust! It was so easy and yummy! We will be doing it a lot! The girls rolled their dough into hearts and had fun adding toppings!
Happy Valentine's Day!

7 months (a little late)
Sam, you turned 7 months on the 2nd, but it has been a crazy month so I am just now getting around to posting! You are very long and very lean! I'm not sure of your stats-but the long and lean is very obvious! You have had a solid month of sickness. More like 4 months...but, since Friday and Saturday you are feeling better and we could not be more excited! You ran a temperature for a solid month and had the worst cough I have ever heard! You still have a little cough, but it is so much better! You learned to sit up a few weeks ago and are very proud of that accomplishment. It definitely gives you a better view to watch your sisters from! You love toys--way more than your sisters did. You particularly like this tractor with farm animals. I think tonight might be your last night as a toothless baby. You have the "cut" on the bottom right tooth! That makes me a little sad! You have some tongue thrust issues and getting baby food down isn't the easiest thing. However, you can get some down which is way more than Leigh ever did. We are not worried at all! We know you will eat better when you get solid foods and until then we will keep trying! Today, we went to the neighborhood park and you got to swing outside for the first time. You really liked it. You always take naps in the swing so you got really sleepy-ha! You take a morning nap when we take your sisters to school and then a short one when we pick them up. We are working toward getting your good afternoon nap back. Our goal is about 2 hours. When you don't nap well in the afternoon you need a short 5 o'clock snooze! Generally you sleep from 7 p.m. to 6-6:30 a.m. You wear mostly 6 months clothes. We love you lots!
